Borrowed Rooms, Our Winter Issue, Is Out

February 12, 2026

Issue V, Borrowed Rooms, is online today.

It was guest edited by Aurelia Stanek, and it gathers six pieces of writing and one film around a single question: what does it mean to live somewhere that belongs to someone else?

Inside you will find Aurelia's own essay on the last day in a rented apartment, a story by Joaquim Brandeiro about a radio that nobody is allowed to switch off, Sami Okafor-Reyes on nine addresses in four years, Noor Castellane's photographs of balconies in three cities, Ettore Castagnola's argument against the show flat, and a short poem by Mira Halloran. The issue closes with Mireille Tessandier's experimental film Salt Ledger.

You can read the whole issue on the issues page.
