Salt Ledger

Salt Ledger is built from a year of photographs taken at a coastal salt works, printed as photograms and animated frame by frame. The images drift between record and abstraction: crystals growing along a string, the shadow of a rake, the white rim of an evaporation pond seen from above. A daily count of the yield runs through the soundtrack as a rhythm rather than as information.
