Low Tide at Six

Over eleven months on a tidal estuary, a small crew of shellfish pickers work the flats between tides. The film follows the rhythm of their mornings: the drive in the dark, the long walk out, the careful watching of the water as it turns. There is almost no dialogue. We learn the place through sound, weather and the patience of people who know exactly how long they have.
